More about Boxer Motor Company

In 1982, Peter O'Mahony branched out on his own as a Renault Specialist, working in a double garage in Maidenhead.

Within three years, the company became Renault Service and Repairs, had taken on employees and relocated to larger premises in Forlease Road in the town centre.

By 1989, the business had expanded rapidly and now had four employees. It was time to move again, this time to Rawcliffe House, a purpose-built industrial unit in Howarth Road. And because the company was servicing all makes of vehicle, a new trading name was chosen: Boxer Motor Company, after the O'Mahony's first beloved Boxer dog Butch.

Today Boxer Motor Company, with ten employees and larger premises, is located in Reform Road, Maidenhead, having moved there in 1995. With trained technicians and specialist equipment, Boxer Motor Company caters for all vehicle requirements but still keeps its personal touch.

As Peter O'Mahony says, "We repair all makes of vehicles, but Renaults are our forte."
